Today was another non-stress test doctor appointment. Nothing terribly exciting or different to report this week. Baby's heart rate was the same as it usually is and it was moving. According to this doctor I am still 1-2 cm dilated and 30% effaced, although his opinion is that internal exams mean nothing because you can be 1 cm one minute and be 4 cm a little later...it's not very accurate according to him. He said that if I make it to next Friday's appointment, they would make a decision about inducing labor or letting me go a little while longer---since next Sunday the 22nd is our due date.

Labor & Delivery Visit # 2

Today I had major pains shooting from my belly button to the right side of my body. The nurse at the doctor's office told me that I should go into labor and delivery to get checked out being that I'm 38 weeks.
After several long hours of monitoring, drawing blood, and another ultrasound....they tell me it's nothing they can figure out and assume it's just stretching. Gave me a prescription for pain killers (which I refuse to take) and sent me on my way.
Wahoo for wasting time, but glad baby is okay and supposedly there's nothing truly wrong with the pains I have.

Doctor Appointment

Today was another doctor appointment. Non stress test had baby's heart rate between the 130s and 160s again, although mostly around 130s. Doctor said baby was happy so I guess 130s was okay.
I was kind of worried since I fell down the last 4 stairs to our basement while carrying a tote that Chad told me by to carry---guess I should have listened better! :-/ I was just trying to be helpful!
Doctor said I'm dilated 1cm, very soft (30% efface) and at station -3. Went over when to go into labor and delivery and said she hoped they wouldn't be seeing me in the office next week, but rather the hospital!!!
We're getting there!!! :-)
